From Samantha Lui:

For the 2013 Winter Term, the R.H. Smith Office of Global Programs is sending myself and 17 students from the University of Maryland to Nicaragua in order to help local entrepreneurs from Managua, Granada, and San Juan del Sur grow and expand their businesses. Our goal is to raise $1500 in order to help these entrepreneurs finance their businesses and start paving the way towards helping them create sustainable and profitable enterprises that will improve their lives and their community. So far, our team has raised $125 through fundraising with all the proceeds going directly to the entrepreneurs. Any donation is greatly appreciated, and even a small donation will go a long way towards helping these entrepreneurs realize their dreams. To donate please visit: http://terpsabroadnicaragua.blogspot.com/ Thank you! And Happy Holidays!
